What better way to celebrate than to visit the opening morning of the Tulip Festival. It was a bit hit & miss as to whether to go this morning, as there has been a heap of rain, the last two days and this morning. Luckily Melbourne lived up to its label (you get four seasons in one day)
So attend I did, with a lovely group of six ladies, all from overseas ( China, India, England) who are now living in Melbourne, whom I have only recently met via my son's high school. We arrived as the clouds cleared way for the always stunning, Aussie blue sky. We all found ourselves very happily amused with snapping away on our phones & cameras at everything! ... including ourselves :-) Sad but true. But we laughed and laughed the whole time :-)
Four of my group arrived and became the first visitors of 2014 and are now gracing the Tresselaar facebook page :-)
